Essential Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience working in an educational environment, supporting staff and student technology needs.
• Minimum four years’ experience in a similar ICT or network administration role.
• Demonstrated advanced knowledge of core network technologies, including wireless and switching infrastructure, subnet design, VLAN configuration, SD‑WAN, MPLS, and IPSEC‑based secure connectivity.
• Experience with network infrastructure monitoring tools, such as PRTG.
• Demonstrated experience managing enterprise telephony systems, including Avaya platforms.
• Experience designing, implementing, and managing perimeter security technologies, including firewall platforms such as FortiGate.
• Proficiency administering print management systems, including Papercut.
• Experience supporting networked multifunction devices and photocopiers, including Fuji Xerox systems.
• Experience supporting the following systems is highly desired:
  • FACTS Student Management System
  • Canvas Learning Management System
  • Aruba Networking – Wired & Wireless
  • FortiGate Firewalls, including FortiManager
  • Avaya IP Office

Candidates must:

• Have a current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificate or be willing to obtain
• Have a willingness to undergo a Police Check
• Have a valid Working with Children Check
