About this Role:
- Full Time Fixed-Term (1 Semester Leave Replacement)
- Commencing Term 3 2026
- Subject areas: Science (Years 7 - 10), VCE Biology
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Science and VCE Biology lessons
- Contribute to curriculum design and assessment practices within the Science Faculty
- Use a range of teaching strategies and digital tools to engage diverse learners
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance programs and promote excellence in Science
- Uphold MGGS’s commitment to child safety in all aspects of teaching and school life
About You:
- Hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
- Deep understanding of curriculum requirements and best practice teaching strategies
- Demonstrated experience teaching Science across Secondary year levels and VCE
- Skilled at building meaningful, respectful relationships with students and colleagues
- Enthusiastic about introducing innovative, student-centred teaching methods that inspire and engage
- Collaborative and creative mindset, committed to enhancing learning programs and student outcomes
