About the role
We are seeking a proactive and team focussed HR Coordinator to provide contemporary HR and OHSW support. You will provide support across the entire employee life cycle and play a crucial role in enabling and driving effective people practices.
This role could suit
- An experienced administrator seeking to grow your HR career, or
- An experienced HR practitioner looking for flexibility, or
- A capable and driven HR graduate looking for their first step
What you will be doing
- Supporting the administration requirements for the entire employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, contracts and terminations.
- Monitoring compliance with requirements such as Working with Children Checks
- Overseeing the School’s workplace gender equality (WGEA) reporting
- Preparing correspondence and reports
- Compiling and analysing statistics and data
- Monitoring team HR inboxes and providing general advice and support
- Backfilling other roles during absences
What we are looking for
- Experience in a similar role, in a busy environment
- Excellent administration and organisational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of applications
- The ability to learn new systems quickly, and proactively recommend improvements to processes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
- Exemplary commitment to ethicality and confidentiality
