About the role 

Join a unique alpine campus where learning is connected to nature and extends far beyond the classroom. As an Inclusive Learning Collaborator at Timbertop, you will play a key role in supporting students within a vibrant, predominantly residential community, where academic, pastoral, and co-curricular life are deeply interconnected. On-site accommodation is not provided as part of this role. 

In this role you will work closely with teachers, students, and families to design and deliver learning support that enables every student to thrive. You will support a diverse range of learners, including those with neurodiversity and additional learning needs, through the development and use of personalised learning programmes, small group, and individual teaching.  

What you will be doing 

  • Collaborating with teachers, families, and wider teams to monitor progress and support transitions to and from Timbertop 
  • Developing Individual Learning Plans for students  
  • Planning and delivering targeted small group and individual learning programs to support students with neurodiversity, including Specific Learning Disabilities, to reach their full potential. 
  • Participating in professional learning, reflective practice, and continuous improvement activities 
  • Undertaking administrative, organisational, duties 
  • Enabling student wellbeing through pastoral care, relationship building, and active engagement with families 
  • Working collaboratively across the campus to ensure all students are supported to thrive 

What we are looking for 

  • A degree in Education (or a related field) with relevant teaching qualifications 
  • A strong understanding of research-based intervention strategies and assessment tools 
  • An ability to work effectively with teachers, families, and support staff to improve student outcomes 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide clear feedback and progress reports 
  • Ability to tailor teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students. 
  • A strong understanding of neurodiversity and experience supporting students with specific learning disorders 
  • Ability to thrive in a remote, residential school setting  
  • Willingness to engage in all aspects of campus life
