ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Pool Deck Supervisor to join our Aquatics Team. Reporting to the Aquatic Manager, this role is integral to the successful delivery of our Learn to Swim and Aquatic Programs.

As the key link between instructors, swimmers, parents and administration staff during service hours, you will provide on-deck leadership, monitor program quality and swimmer progression, support staff development, and ensure a consistently high standard of customer service and aquatic instruction.

You will work closely with instructors, families and the Aquatic Administration Team to ensure participants are progressing appropriately, quality standards are maintained, and operational procedures are followed.

This is a casual position commencing as soon as possible. Availability during service hours, including after-school and weekend programs, is required.

ABOUT YOU

Knowledge & skills:

  • Sound understanding of the Camberwell Grammar Aquatic Program
  • 18 months experience working with Camberwell Grammar Aquatic or more than 5 years industry experience
  • Detailed knowledge across all areas of Learn To Swim
  • Ability to lead and work as part of a team
  • Ability to quickly assist staff and parents with program related questions
  • Experience working with Envibe Mobile and Workstation
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills 

Qualifications:

  • Austswim, SAT, LSV or recognized equivalent
  • Level 2 First Aid and CPR
  • Working With Children Check
  • Police Check 

Desirable

  • Competitive Strokes or Coaching Licence
  • Lifeguard
