The Human Resources Officer is an integral member of the Human Resources team, supporting the delivery of high-quality operational HR services across the employee lifecycle. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role is responsible for coordinating end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, maintaining HR systems and records, preparing employment documentation, employee relations support and ensuring compliance with employment legislation, enterprise agreements, awards and College policies. This role also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives and a positive employee experience across the College.
The successful applicant will possess a sound understanding of contemporary HR practices, employment legislation and industrial instruments, together with exceptional organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail. You will bring excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, the ability to build positive working relationships and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
The ability to work collaboratively is essential, together with a willingness to support the College's Catholic ethos, mission and values. The successful applicant must hold, or be willing to obtain, a Working with Children Check and a National Police Record Check prior to commencement. This is a full-time role; however part-time arrangements may be considered.
