Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and differentiated Humanities lessons across Years 7-10
Contribute to curriculum design and assessment practices within the Humanities Faculty
Use a range of teaching strategies and digital tools to engage diverse learners
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance programs and promote excellence in English
Uphold MGGS’s commitment to child safety in all aspects of teaching and school life
*Classes: Year 7 & 10 History, Year 8 Geography x 2, Year 9 Geography
About You:
Hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or can gain VIT registration. Teaching graduates are encouraged to apply.
Deep understanding of curriculum requirements and best practice teaching strategies
Skilled at building meaningful, respectful relationships with students and colleagues
Enthusiastic about introducing innovative, student-centred teaching methods that inspire and engage
Collaborative and creative mindset, committed to enhancing learning programs and student outcomes
