  • Teach senior Chemistry in a top 10 independent school

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dedicated Science (Chemistry) Teacher to join our College community on a full time, ongoing basis from Term 1, 2027.

Reporting to the Head of Learning - Science, this role will be responsible for teaching senior Chemistry classes (VCE and/or IB) and general science subjects. You will work alongside committed educators who value high-quality teaching practice, continuous professional growth, and access to modern teaching spaces and resources.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Education
  • Current VIT Registration
  • Previous experience teaching VCE and/or IB Chemistry (essential)
  • Knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and the effective use of ICT to enrich classroom learning
  • Well-developed classroom management strategies that enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
  • A willingness to contribute actively to a collegial and collaborative work environment
  • A commitment to upholding the ethos and values of the College
