About the role

• Full-time, ongoing teaching position
• Commencing January 2027

We are looking for a mathematics teacher who brings strong subject knowledge, genuine care for students, and a thoughtful approach to their craft. The successful candidate will teach confidently across Years 7–12, tailor their approach to their students, and contribute to a faculty and School that holds high standards. Experience in VCE, Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics and/or IBDP is an advantage.

We are seeking a candidate with:

• A genuine commitment to Lauriston's values of Engagement in Life, Intellectual Curiosity, Courage, Creativity and Relationships
• A passion for girls' education and a genuine interest in the growth and success of young people
• Strong subject knowledge across the mathematics curriculum, Years 7–12
• Experience teaching VCE Mathematics, including Mathematical Methods and/or Specialist Mathematics, and/or IBDP
• A considered and evidence-informed approach to teaching and assessment
• The ability to engage students across a range of abilities and year levels
• A collaborative approach to curriculum planning and professional practice
• Clear and effective communication with students, families and colleagues
