HEAD OF FACULTY – 2027 OPPORTUNITIES

• Commencing Term 1 2027

• 3-year Position of Responsibility / ongoing teaching position

• Teacher salary range $84,443–$126,450, plus POR 2 allowance of $6,536 per annum / 0.3 time release

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for inspirational Heads of Faculty in the following areas for 2027:

·         Humanities (including LOTE)

·         Mathematics

·         Technology

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who brings:

• Current VIT registration (or capacity to attain), with a relevant teaching qualification and strong capacity in classroom teaching and subject knowledge in their faculty

• Demonstrated understanding of contemporary curriculum design and assessment practice.

• Proven ability to mentor, coach and provide constructive feedback to teaching staff.

• Strong organisational skills and communication skills.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

CONDITIONS AND SALARY

Per the Highview College Enterprise Agreement:

• $84,443–$126,450, depending on level

• POR2 allowance: $6,536 per annum
