About the role
Fixed-term, full-time leave replacement commencing Term 1, 2027. Contract concludes at the end of Term 4, 2027.
Teacher of Art (7-12) who specialises in Art Creative Practice to join our vibrant Arts Faculty.
Key responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, contemporary Art programs across Years 7-12, including VCE Art Creative Practice
Create inclusive and challenging learning environments that support student growth, creativity and achievement
Support students in the development of artistic skills, creative processes, critical reflection and independent art practice
Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues regarding student progress
Contribute to curriculum development, exhibitions, Arts events and the broader life of the School
Collaborate positively with colleagues to support a culture of excellence, innovation and continuous improvement
Uphold Melbourne Girls Grammar's Child Safety policies and practices at all times

About you
Hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
Skilled at building meaningful, respectful relationships with students, colleagues and families
Proficient in using digital technologies (including LMS and multimedia programs) to enhance teaching and learning
Demonstrate a commitment to the academic, personal and wellbeing growth of students
Embrace collaboration and contribute positively to the broader school community
