Senior English Teacher (Fixed-Term)

Beaconhills College is an open-entry, co-educational College offering outstanding holistic education opportunities from Early Learning to Year 12. The College currently has over 3000 students across two campuses in Pakenham and Berwick, which are organised into sub-schools; Early Learning, Junior, Middle, Year 9 and Senior Schools.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Senior English Teacher to join our Pakenham Campus in a full-time (1.0 FTE), fixed-term position commencing 21 January 2027 and concluding 10 December 2027. The successful applicant will be a passionate educator with demonstrated experience teaching Year 12 English and English Language, committed to fostering academic excellence, critical thinking, and a lifelong appreciation of language and literature.

• Full-time (1.0 FTE), fixed-term position from 21 January to 10 December 2027
• Based at our Pakenham Campus
• Teaching Year 10 English, Year 12 English, and Year 12 English Language
• Demonstrated experience teaching Year 12 English and English Language is essential
• Contribute to outstanding learning outcomes within the Senior School
• Join a collaborative and supportive team of experienced educators
• Current VIT registration is required
• Tertiary qualifications in Education are required
• Experience with VCE assessment and examination preparation will be highly regarded
• All new teachers are assigned a mentor and encouraged to participate in our comprehensive mentoring program to support their professional growth and success at the College
