About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an outstanding People and Culture Business Partner to join our People and Culture team. In this role, you will provide practical, solutions-focused advice across the employee lifecycle, while supporting the management of employee relations matters with confidence, professionalism and sound judgement. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will play a key role in coaching leaders, building workforce capability, and fostering a positive and high-performing workplace culture.
This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by empowering leaders, strengthening workplace culture, and supporting the delivery of exceptional people practices across the School.

  • Full time, permanent position

About You
An outstanding People and Culture Business Partner, you have:

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, marked by clarity and compassion
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship skills, with the ability to develop trusted and credible relationships with leaders and managers at all levels
  • Strong influencing, coaching and relationship-management skills
  • Sound knowledge of employment legislation, industrial relations frameworks, awards and enterprise agreements
  • Experience managing employee relations matters including performance management, conduct, conflict resolution, grievances and concerns
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
  • Well-developed IT skills, with knowledge of the MS Office suite and HRIS platforms
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality, trust and integrity
  • Demonstrated experience in a People & Culture Business Partner, Human Resources Advisor or similar generalist HR role
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience
  • Current VIT / WWCC (Employee)
