We're growing! Y Community School currently operates a senior secondary campus in Epping, and from Term 1 2027 we're opening a junior campus for young people in years 7 to 9. As Wellbeing Leader, you'll lead our new wellbeing team, shaping how we support students now and as the school grows. If you're ready to help build something new, this is your moment.

What's the opportunity?

As our Wellbeing Leader, you'll lead a new team of wellbeing specialists and educational youth workers; fostering a safe, inclusive and empowering environment where students can thrive. You'll oversee the implementation of wellbeing initiatives, deliver programs tailored to individual student needs, and work closely with staff to make sure every student feels seen and valued.

This is a full time, ongoing opportunity based at our junior campus in Epping.

Relevant knowledge and skills

• Tertiary qualifications in social work, youth work, counselling, education or equivalent.
• Extensive leadership experience in an environment supporting vulnerable young people.
• VIT registration (preferred) or a current Employee Working with Children Check.
• National Police Check (and International Police Check if you have lived outside Australia in the last five years).
• Current First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain.
• Demonstrated ability to work professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
