About You

To be considered for this position, you must be a VIT-registered teacher with a strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum and Syllabus, and be willing to embrace modern teaching methods and technologies.

As a Learning Support Teacher, you will be skilled in identifying and evaluating student needs, differentiating instruction across all parts of the learning spectrum, collecting and analysing data, creating and implementing individualised education plans (IEPs), and providing professional guidance to staff. Experience working with students with ASD is essential, and the ability to effectively engage and support teenage boys is highly regarded.

You will also provide training and support to Teaching and Support staff in areas that enhance quality differentiated teaching and supplementary support. The role involves providing targeted support to students during lessons and study time—both in general and specialist learning environments, including online (Zoom).
