Waverley Christian College is a forward thinking and culturally diverse Christian co-educational school from Kinder to Year 12. We have been providing students with a quality Christian educational experience for over 45 years. With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2026.

Join our Finance team as a part-time (FTE 0.6) Accounts Officer and contribute to the effective stewardship of the College's resources in support of our mission to provide Christ-centred education. As an Accounts Officer, you will be responsible for a broad range of financial administration activities, including accounts receivable, debtor administration, reconciliations and financial reporting. Working closely with families, staff and external stakeholders, you will provide professional and responsive support, maintain accurate and compliant financial records, and support continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys balancing analytical work with customer service.  Your contribution will help ensure the smooth operation of the College's financial processes and support the wider work of the College community.

You are an ideal candidate if you:

  • Are highly motivated
  • Have good administrative and Microsoft Office 365 skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Prior finance administration experience including accounts receivable, debtor management, reconciliation and financial reporting will be highly regarded
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills
  • Enjoy working in a team environment
  • Are able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education
  • Are willing to get involved in all aspects of the College’s programs and opportunities
  • Have high level communication and interpersonal skills
