Marketing and Communications Manager

About the Role: 

The Marketing and Communications Manager will lead the delivery of strategic marketing, communications and brand initiatives across the School. 

Reporting to the Executive Director, Marketing and Community Engagement, this role is responsible for driving enrolment growth, strengthening community engagement and enhancing the visibility and reputation of the MGGS brand across all channels. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a marketing professional who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution and is passionate about storytelling, audience engagement and delivering measurable outcomes. 

Key responsibilities include:  

  • Develop and implement the School's annual marketing and communications plans in line with approved marketing budgets.
  • Design and deliver integrated marketing campaigns that support enrolment growth and community engagement.
  • Manage the production of marketing and communications assets, including publications, photography, videography, advertising and promotional materials.
  • Manage the MGGS brand and ensure consistency across all marketing and communications channels. Oversee website content, digital marketing, SEO/SEM and social media strategy.
  • Create compelling content across print, digital and media platforms, including articles, newsletters and website content.
  • Monitor and evaluate campaign performance using analytics, customer insights and market data.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Enrolments team, alumni community and external suppliers.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and support to the Content and Social Media Coordinator.

About you:

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related discipline. 
  • Demonstrated success developing and delivering marketing strategies and campaigns. 
  • Strong experience across digital marketing, content creation, brand management and audience engagement. 
  • Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills, with demonstrated experience producing high-quality publications, articles, newsletters, website content and marketing materials. 
  • Experience managing websites, social media platforms, digital campaigns and marketing technologies. 
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. 
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. 
  • Experience managing external suppliers, media agencies and marketing budgets. 
  • A proactive, highly organised and solutions-focused approach.
