About the role

The Finance Officer (Payroll Services) plays a vital role in supporting the smooth and effective operation of the College’s business and financial activities. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all staff, ensuring full compliance with legislative requirements, the College’s Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA), employment contracts, and internal policies.

This position provides high-quality service to staff, maintains strong internal controls, and contributes to the integrity of the College’s financial reporting through payroll reconciliations, analysis, and continuous process improvements, while working collaboratively with the Human Resources Manager, Finance Manager, and broader College staff.
