A key residential role within the boarding team, the Boarding Residential Tutor is responsible for providing supervision, guidance and support to students residing in the boarding house. The Boarding Residential Tutor works closely with boarding staff to oversee the daily operations of the boarding house, including active supervision, roll marking and adherence to school policies and procedures.
As a positive role model and live-in presence, the Boarding Residential Tutor also makes significant pastoral care contribution through the development of positive and trusting relationships with students. With a deep understanding of each boy’s skills, interests, needs and wellbeing, the Boarding Residential Tutor works to foster a sense of belonging where students feel respected, valued and connected to the boarding and wider school community.
